Our Intention, Our Legacy

At Hip Nautic Getaways, we believe a life well‑lived is one built with intention—savoring the small moments, nurturing meaningful relationships, and creating a legacy that carries forward long after the vacation ends.

We’re Scott and Gen. After 35 years of marriage, four daughters, and three grandchildren (with more blessings surely ahead), we’ve learned that family is the heart of everything. It’s our greatest joy, our grounding force, and the reason we choose to live with purpose. Over the decades, we’ve come to understand that legacy isn’t something you leave behind—it’s something you build day by day, through time spent together and values shared across generations.

Our Hip Nautic Getaway homes were created from that belief. These spaces have held our family’s laughter, our traditions, our quiet mornings, and our sunset walks. They’ve been places where our children grew, where our grandchildren discovered the magic of the coast, and where simple moments became cherished memories.

Our hope is that these homes offer the same for you—places where your family slows down, reconnects, and writes the next chapter of your own legacy. Whether it’s a weekend escape or a long‑awaited gathering, we pray these spaces become part of the stories you’ll treasure for years to come.
